Blayden-isms

Man, this kid is really starting to talk a LOT! I can't believe that he's going to be 2 this month, it's really pretty sad knowing that he's my last baby and now he's leaving the "baby" stage (although he's spoiled rotten so he might be a baby a little longer!) :-)

Anyway, his absolute favorite thing to say is "oh my gosh!!" If something falls down, breaks, makes a loud noise, looks weird, etc, etc, etc, he'll say "oh my gosh!" He says it a LOT.

He'll also ask me several times a day "Daddy home?" It's the cutest thing in the world when he does it- he LOVES Matt and when Matt gets home he'll run to him saying "Daddy!!!!" with the biggest grin on his face!

He also really loves Jace although, honestly, Jace is the only brother that doesn't really "cater" to his every need (Kelton and Daylon both really love on Blayden a lot, get things for him, etc.) But Blayden loves for Jace to play with him and he'll spend ten minutes calling "JAAAACCCEEEE" at the top of his lungs to get Jace to come play with him.

Blayden LOVES to play with his big brothers and if they are doing something, he'd better be involved in it as well or you're going to hear about it. LOUDLY. The boys got a new trampoline for Christmas from my mom and they can spend hours outside jumping on it, no matter what the weather is. Blayden just wants to be out there with them.

On weekend mornings, we let the older boys get up and play while Matt and I sleep in. They've also gotten to where they just get Blayden up when he wakes up, then they'll get him breakfast and a drink and they'll all play together. However, when Matt and I wake up, Blayden is the first one in our room with us. He'll crawl into bed (usually on Matt's side, right next to Matt), point to the TV, and say "on!" He'll then lay there for however long we let him, watching TV with us (otherwise, he could really care less about TV and doesn't watch it much at all).

Anyway, those are just a few of the things off the top of my head that my big boy is doing now. He's just been so much fun- we're both really trying to enjoy him as much as possible since he IS the last one for us, ya know?!?! :-)

How cute, I can just imagine his little voice. I really love that age. I am struggling with the same issues, thinking Kaleb might be our last and trying to treasure every moment. The thought that I won't ever have a chunky baby to kiss on and cuddle again makes me want to cry!! I'll definitely be looking forward to grandkids once Katie is older!
