I HATE painting!!

One of my summer projects is to re-do all of the boys rooms. (Well, it started out that we have to move Jace into Blayden's room since he's starting Kindergarten this year and he HAS to have more sleep than he's getting right now with sharing a room with Kelton. So Blayden is moving into Kelton's room and Jace is getting Blayden's. Fun stuff.)

Anyway, I started yesterday on Daylon's room. Right now his room is just "boyish" with no theme or anything. It's cute though! (I wish I had taken before pictures!!) But now he wants to do an underwater theme thing (mostly with sharks, of course!) His room was already a pretty dark blue, but on two of the walls he has lighter stripes (I worked my butt off on those stripes before we moved in!!) So yesterday I painted over the stripes so it's all dark blue. And today I'm making "waves" using a really light (almost white) paint at the top of the walls. I can't decide if I like it or not though! (He say's "it's cool mom, I don't care what it looks like" so I'm thinking he doesn't really like it either, he's just trying to be nice. It's what HE wanted though!!)

I also ordered this really big mural:


And I'll put that up somewhere in his room. And then he wants me to paint coral and fish on the walls. My hands already hurt from painting!! I don't know WHY I started all of this!!!
