School + Baby Teething= EXHAUSTION!

Yeah, I'm SOOO tired! Blayden is working on both of his bottom teeth right now, and was up a few times last night and the night before. I've been having to wake up earlier than I'm used to as well so I can get Daylon ready and take him to school.

Not to mention that I started school myself on Tuesday too. I'm going to Blinn this semester and taking 9 hours total (6 actually AT Blinn, and then 3 online.) I go every Tuesday/Thursday from 9:10-1:15, and it about killed me today. My first class is a teaching class (called Family, School, and Community or something like that) and one of my neighbors is actually my teacher in that class (a little weird, but I think it'll be okay!) Then my other class is from 10:35-1:15. Yes, it's over 2 1/2 hours long! It's a Business Calculus class and I HATE it. It's so long because it's an 8 week course (half of the normal time) so we have it longer each day. That's a LONG time to do math too! (And it's been a REALLY long time since I've done math and I've forgotten just about everything. I'm not looking forward to my first test to see how much of this I'm actually retaining!)

Anyway. Just had to complain that I'm completely exhausted. And now I have to take Jace and Kelton to Karate. I need coffee, but I know that if I try to go to Kroger (to Starbucks) to get it (it's 5:00 right now) the line is going to be SUPER long, and I'm going to be late to Karate. And I would make my own, but I don't have any creamer at all so it won't be sweet enough. LOL

This sucks....

Daylon's 1st Day of 1st Grade!!

Man, I can't believe how fast this summer went by!

Daylon started 1st grade this morning, and I officially started back to Blinn as well (just an Internet class today, then I have 2 classes tomorrow morning).

Anyway, Daylon wasn't thrilled with getting up early, but did good. Here are a few pictures of it all. :-)

"Wake up, Daylon!"

Sea World this weekend

Well, we decided to take a last minute (and I mean that litterally- I got everyone packed and out the door in 35 minutes from the time we decided to go to San Antonio!) trip to Sea World this weekend. We left Saturday, went to the hotel, swam there for a little while, then went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner (I've been craving Crab legs- they were SOOO yummy!!), then back to the hotel. We got up early Sunday morning and went to Sea World right when they opened. It was great too, because there weren't many people there and we got right on the rides (and it wasn't too hot at all either!)

Daylon rode his first BIG roller coaster- the "Steel Eel" while we were there too. I was SO impressed that he got on it with me, but he was kind of scared the whole time- saying "I'm afriad of hights!" LOL I think he was proud of himself for going though. Here's a picture of me and Daylon on the ride- it's a look of utter fear on his face- that was taken during the first big drop (which is the biggest of the whole ride, and is a 150 foot drop!!)

Here are a few other pictures from this weekend too- the boys had a BLAST feeding the dolphins, and they all loved Shamu too (they sat in the "splash zone" with Matt- I sat up top with Blayden! LOL)

Handsome Blayden (and hot!)

Are they all yours?!

So, my life seems a LOT easier right now (even after the day that I had with the boys yesterday- we spent THREE hours getting my car detailed. Not fun anyway, but during nap time and with all four boys?! No thanks!!) I just read a post on Ebay from a lady selling some Pokemon cards (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130144061675) and she made my day!! Then I went to her blog (see to the right of your screen, I bookmarked it for my future enjoyment!!) and she made my day even better.

This woman has SIX kids (ranging in age from 1 to 12) and is only 29 years old. See Mom, I'm not nuts for having FOUR kids!! My life could be a lot more.... um... interesting!! I just feel for this woman. I HATE going to the store with the boys, and I get asked constantly "Are they all yours?" Or "You have four boys?" (To which I normally look at the boys, count them again in my head to make sure they are all still there, and say "yes, there are four of them!") Or "Are you going to try for that girl?" ("No, we're done!") Or "Are you done, or going to have more?" (See last answer.) And my favorite one "How old are you?!" LOL!!

I think mom's of more than the normal two kids (or even three is pretty accepted) have to have a certain outlook on life. Four, five, six, or even sixteen kids, are a LOT more work than two kids. (Our grocery bill is crazy too!) And you have to be willing to have someone ask you "are they all yours?" and just learn to smile and say (as proudly as possible!) "YES!"

Blayden- 6 1/2 months

I also wanted to add that I took Blayden (and Kelton) to the Dr. yesterday for check ups. (Blayden's 6 month and Kelton's 4 year.) Both are very healthy and doing great!!

Blayden weighed 18 pounds 5 ounces (50 percentile), and was 28" long (75 percentile). He's getting so big!! He's trying to crawl (does the backward "scoot" right now, and gets up on his hands- not knees yet), and just rolls everywhere. He loves to watch his brothers, and loves his Jump-A-Roo (he goes CRAZY in that thing!!)

He's the absolute sweetest baby though, and such a GOOD baby!! Anyway! Here are a few recent pictures of him as well...

Having fun in the Jump-A-Roo

LOVES the water!!!

Standing up (with Daddy's help!)

Kelton- my big 4 year old!!!

Well, I'm a little late on this one! But Kelton turned FOUR on Tuesday- August 14. I can't believe that it's been four years since I had him. I remember being pregnant with him and having to be on bed rest for a lot of it because of low fluid. They eventually had to induce me early because he wasn't "thriving" in utero (he would barely move, even after me having chocolate and a coke or something.) It was scary!!!

He made his appearance on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at 4 something in the afternoon (don't feel like looking it up, but I know it was sometime after 4! LOL) weighing in at 6 pounds even (pretty good size for being almost 6 weeks early!!) He was long and skinny, and even though he was in the NICU for 9 days after he was born, we got to see him as much as we wanted (we were in The Woodlands at the time and the NICU there was WONDERFUL!!!)

It's hard to believe that that little guy is my big guy now. Kelton is still TALL AND SKINNY, and very handsome (he really looks a lot like his Aunt Sarah- with curly hair and all!) and can be super sweet! He loves to sit next to me, cuddle, and have me read books to him. He's the first one that runs to Matt when he gets home yelling "Daddy!!" and gives him a huge hug. He's also the one that drives us absolutely nuts and can be SUCH a brat!! LOL He's got a temper on him, and yells at and hits his older brothers a lot. (He LOVES Blayden though, and always volunteers to give him his bottle for me!)

Anyway, he's my sweet Jarrett "Kelton" and again, I just can't believe that he is 4 already. We had his birthday party last weekend at PowerSports and he had a blast, even though we didn't have a lot of people show up (gotta love having a summer birthday).

Here are a few pictures from early on until recently...

I'm TIRED!

Ugghh!! So, we just had a busy weekend. Matt went out of town camping so I had the boys all weekend by myself. I also watched my nephew for a few hours Saturday night (he just slept but I had to stay awake until my sister got here to pick him back up), and my BIL got baptized yesterday and I took the boys to church so I could be there for him for that. Then, since my dad was in town, we went to lunch after church. After nap time Matt got home (saw the puppy- still nameless I think!) for the first time, and then we had to leave to go to my nephews 2nd birthday party at the park. We were there for a few hours, then headed home, put the boys to bed, and then Matt and I were finally able to just talk and spend some time alone.

And THEN, Matt keeps me up most of the night snoring! I don't know if his allergies were bad since he had stayed outside a lot this weekend or what, but it was horrible! Then the puppy started chewing on a bone on the floor right next to my side of the bed, so I put him in the bathroom to sleep and he whined for almost 20 minutes (and Matt was only awake for about 5 of that and then he was snoring again- I have NO idea how he slept through it! LOL) Of course Blayden was up at 7 and I had to get up to mess with him and the puppy, and then the boys. I'M TIRED!!!! (And I'm even more tired after writing all of that! LOL!!!)

Anyway! So, I did this liquid "21 pounds in 21 days" detox diet last week. I've lost 8 pounds and have kept it off over the weekend of not really staying on it. So not too bad, I think!! I'm getting back on the diet today except I'm going to modify it a little. You are supposed to drink fresh vegetable juice once a day (I have a juicer) but the last 2 times I've made it I was NOT able to drink it! I makes me gag BADLY! Even the smell makes me sick to my stomach. Yuck! I know that I'm not getting all of the calories and nutrients that I need by not drinking it though, or not eating the soup (also makes me gag- it's just a veggie soup that is cooked then blended in the blender so it's all mushy.)

So, I'm going to stay on the liquid part of the diet during the days and then have a salad with fresh, homemade dressing on it (all natural, no preservatives, etc) with other veggies for dinner. At least that way I can get the nutrients from the veggies, but my body will have to work a little harder to digest the food, but not as hard as it would if I was eating like I used to! Hopefully I'll still be able to loose weight and feel really good (the first 2 days of the diet I felt GREAT!! I've also been able to sleep better than I have in a really long time.) I'm going to continue to get the colonics once a week for awhile (I go in this morning at 10:15) as I really think that helps to clean everything out. I feel so much better afterwards, it's crazy!! (It's still a little gross to me to do it though, and not to mention a little embarassing still too although the girl that does it for me is great with it all!!)

Anyway! This ended up longer than I planned, just talking everything out over here! I'd better get going though because I still need to wash some more clothes, and do a few things before my mom gets here to watch the boys.

Boy #5 is here!!! LOL

Well, it's official! I've lost my mind!!! :-)

Matt went today to the San Marcos area (where we went last weekend) to take "The Guys" camping in the RV and tubing down the San Marcos River. Fun for him!! ;-) So, I'm here with the boys and I was bored and looking stuff up online. I got to the Houston classifieds (I told you I was bored!) and saw that there was a woman that had Bernese Mountain dogs for sale! Now, Matt and I are on a waiting list from a woman here in town that sells them, and have been for about a year now. We've been wanting one BAD! So, I call up Matt and of course, he says no. Then I ask if I can at least call the woman and see how much they are and if they have a male (which is what we want.) He says "whatever." LOL

So, I call her and she has TWO males and they are HALF the price of the ones here in town! She's right off of 1960 in Houston so I call back Matt and tell him.... and he says that I can have one!!

So... the boys and I went and got him. He's still nameless but SOO sweet and good with the boys (and Daisy!) Here's a few pictures of him (sorry they are blurry- he was excited when he first got out of the car and was running around everywhere so I didn't get any good pictures of him!) :-)

Just a rollin'!!

So, Blayden is officially rolling everywhere to get places now! He figured out yesterday (FINALLY!!) that he can roll from both his back to his front and his front to his back and it actually gets him somewhere. It's SOOO cute!!

Here's the lastest picture I've taken of Blayden too- sitting up in the big shopping cart seat outside of Target. :-) My baby is now 6 months and 5 days old!!!
